Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to handle corporate AP invoices, daily checks, and electronic payments. You will manage USD and CAD workflows, ensuring timely processing and accuracy across multi-currency transactions within a dynamic finance team.

The role requires a minimum of 2+ years in AP, solid data entry skills, and strong attention to detail. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred, Oracle experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years accounts payable experience in industry or public accounting.
• Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Oracle accounting systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of AP vouchers, expense reports, and intercompany invoices.
• Generate daily USD checks and route for signature.
• Process daily USD ACHs and weekly CAD payments as needed.
• Post and file AP vouchers and adjustments at month-end.
• Assist in month-end close and accuracy of postings.

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing corporate accounts payable invoices in addition to daily checks and electronic payments.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Daily

• Data entry, to include: Corporate AP and Capex vouchers, expense reports, credit memos and intercompany invoices.
• Generate daily USD checks
• Route checks for signature and mailing
• Process daily USD ACHs

Weekly/As Needed

• Generate weekly CAD checks
• Process weekly CAD ACHs
• File paid AP vouchers
• Import various electronic invoices for payment
• Assist in posting AP vouchers, voucher adjustments, debit memos and payment adjustments at month end for closing
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2+ years accounts payable experience in industry or public accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Oracle accounting systems experience desired.
• Excellent math skills, including statistical analysis.
• Highly organized; superior time management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
• Self-motivated; self-starter; extroverted personality.
• Work well with all levels of the corporation.
