Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily plant accounting activities and supervise the accounting staff, ensuring accurate ledgers and timely reporting. The role covers journal entries, cash wires, RM processing, monthly close in Oracle, audit support, process improvements, and close collaboration with IT and other teams.

A bachelor’s in accounting or finance and at least five years of accounting experience, with supervisory background, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting field; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations relating to Plant Accounting.
• Review and approve team's journal entries, cash wires and RM processing.
• Monthly close responsibilities including Plant PLs, COGS and expense accruals in Oracle.
• Assist in requests from both internal and external auditors.
• Review reconciliations to ensure that they are prepared properly, follow-up on any unusual items.
• Make and implement recommendations to improve accounting processes & procedures, working closely with IT.
• Manage scheduled processes in Oracle.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the daily accounting associated with Plant Accounting including supervision of staff.

Minimum Qualifications
