Job summary

Darling Ingredients in Irving, TX is seeking a qualified accounting professional to support the financial close process, including international consolidation. You will perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing, prepare reconciliations, review general ledger activity, and assist with foreign currency translation and internal/external audits.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CPA and at least 3 years public accounting experience is required; Oracle and Hyperion experience is highly

• International accounting experience required.
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Oracle and Hyperion preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities including creating and entering both Oracle and Hyperion entries.
• Assist with the global consolidation to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
• Prepare account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts.
• Conduct high level review and analysis of general ledger accounts.
• Assist with accounting for foreign currency translation.
• Extract and prepare ad hoc reports for management.
• Assist in requests from both internal and external auditors.
• Maintain and update the documentation of the procedure for the position.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Summary
This position will be responsible for assisting in the financial close process, including international consolidation.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA required
• Minimum 3 years public accounting experience required, Big 4 preferred

• Experience in both Oracle and Hyperion preferred
• Able to meet deadlines with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
