Job summary

C&Y Global Inc. is seeking an on-site Accountant in Houston, TX to support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and reconciliations. The role collaborates with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accurate records in compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1–4 years of experience, with proficiency in QuickBooks or similar ERP and strong Excel skills. Chinese language is a plus."

Qualifications

• Experience: Accountant 1–4 years; Senior 4+ years.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar ERP; strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and maintain daily cash reports and monitor bank account balances.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare expense reports and perform variance analysis across company locations.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts.
• Support external accountants and auditors with tax filings and financial reporting.
• Assist in improving and documenting accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and coding.
• Provide guidance or support to junior accounting staff when necessary.
• Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned by management.

Role Description

The Accountant role at C & Y GLOBAL INC. is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, Texas. This role is responsible for supporting the company’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, account reconciliation, and daily accounting activities. This role works closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Chinese language skills are a plus but not required
