A recruitment firm is looking for a Mid-Senior level Accountant to manage financial reporting and analytics. Responsibilities include preparation of budgets and financial statements, ensuring accuracy in monthly reconciliations, and collaborating with finance teams. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in corporate accounting and strong Excel skills. Competitive pay is offered based on experience.

Formación

• 3+ years of enterprise level corporate accounting experience is required.
• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and V Lookups.
• Experience with preparing financial statements and budgets.

Must Haves:

3+ years of enterprise level corporate accounting experience- Accruals, preparing/posting JE, budget vs actual, debit credit, balance sheet, preparing financial statements

Day to Day: Outside of close this position assists in the preparation budgets, annual audited financial statements in conjunction with outside auditors and preparation of other required annual reports

Assists with monthly ad-hoc financial analysis and provides customer support as requested. Produces and manages financial reporting packages and corresponding analysis, which may include accounts like accounts receivable, revenue, cash, or other complex areas. Responds to requests for analysis and provides analytical support to the Finance management team. Discusses departmental statements with department heads and investigates any material variances. Performs monthly close of assigned entities. Ensures all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and supported with proper documentation. Assists in the preparation of the assigned entities annual operating budget. Assists Controller in the preparation of annual audited financial statements in conjunction with outside auditors and preparation of other required annual reports.

Does the candidate have heavy monthly financial close experience? We have a fast close and are normally done with the majority of items by the end of the 5th business day of each month.
