West Shore Home is seeking a Staff Accountant at our Mechanicsburg, PA location to support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. The role emphasizes timely journal entries, reconciliations, and collaboration with internal and external audit processes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA preferred but not required) and a strong command of Microsoft Excel and Office applications. Onsite schedule from Monday to Friday with full-time hours.

• Participate in closing accounting books and finalize the financial records monthly (5 business day goal) by preparing applicable journal entries timely and accurately.
• Perform general ledger account analysis and prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis.
• Compile data and reports to support internal and external reporting as necessary.
• Provide additional support for internal and external audits as necessary.

Job Summary:

The Staff Accountant will compile and audit data and reports to support internal and external reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and manager review.

Key Role Accountabilities:
