Job summary

CFS in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in financial reporting, reconciliations, and year-end accounting activities, and will contribute to a wide range of accounting processes.

Responsibilities include posting journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, completing monthly bank reconciliations, assisting with month-end and year-end closes, preparing financial statements, and supporting audits and tax

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
