Job Summary

A temporary Staff Accountant opportunity is available in Fresno, CA for an experienced accounting professional with strong multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, and team leadership skills. This role is well suited for a detail-oriented accountant who enjoys supporting accurate financial operations, strengthening accounting processes, and partnering with leadership on business-critical reporting.

The Staff Accountant will play an important role in month-end close, year-end close, GAAP compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review the work of the accounting team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of accounting tasks.
• Oversee accounting processes for multiple entities, including month-end close and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports for senior management review.
• Ensure accounting practices follow GAAP, company policies, and internal control requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic financial decisions and operational reporting needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and team efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.
• Job type: Contract/Temporary.
