Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP principles and financial practices.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Job description

• Prepare and post journal entries; perform account and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Prepare and file sales tax reports monthly, quarterly, and annually as required.
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable tasks, including collections, payment application, and resolution of customer account discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
