Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a Staff Accountant to ensure sound financial reporting and support across our long-term care facilities. You will lead month-end close, update asset records, and prepare variance analyses while communicating insights to directors and leaders.

The role requires 3–5 years of financial reporting experience and strong Excel skills, with preferred familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of financial reporting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with major ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or multi-entity reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes including journal entries, bank reconciliations and balance sheet analysis.
• Maintain prepaid schedules, fixed asset records, and variance explanations.
• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses across multiple facilities.

Your Impact as a Staff Accountant

As a key member of our Accounting team, you will:

• Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis

• Maintain and update prepaid schedules, fixed asset records, and variance explanations

• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses across multiple facilities

• Track and analyze performance trends and key metrics by facility and region

• Communicate financial insights to Area Directors and facility leaders

• Support the Controller with special projects and ad hoc reporting

What Makes You a Great Fit

Required:

• 3–5 years of financial reporting experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with major ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred)

Highly Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

• Experience in senior healthcare or long-term care

• Familiarity with multi-entity financial reporting

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
