Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Staff Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting across long-term care facilities. You’ll lead month-end close processes, handle journal entries, bank reconciliations, and prepare variance analyses.

You will collaborate with Area Directors and facility leaders, track performance trends by facility and region, and support the Controller with special projects. Prereqs: 3–5 years of financial reporting, Excel, Dynamics GP.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of financial reporting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update prepaid schedules, fixed asset records, and variance explanations.

Your Impact as a Staff Accountant

As a key member of our Accounting team, you will:

• Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis

• Maintain and update prepaid schedules, fixed asset records, and variance explanations

• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses across multiple facilities

• Track and analyze performance trends and key metrics by facility and region

• Communicate financial insights to Area Directors and facility leaders

What Makes You a Great Fit

Required:

• 3–5 years of financial reporting experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with major ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred)

Highly Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

• Experience in senior healthcare or long-term care

• Familiarity with multi-entity financial reporting

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
