Position Title: Staff Accountant

Praesum currently provides services to behavioral health facilities providing all levels of care from inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse detoxification, through SUD and mental health outpatient clinics.

This position supports the Finance and Accounting teams in the daily functions for the Company and all Affiliates by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

• Prepare daily deposit reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with the closing of monthly and annual financial periods, including:
  • a) Preparing and posting journal entries.
  • b) Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • c) Income statement reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing and filing sales tax returns.
• Assist with preparing and providing supporting documentation to external parties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Staff Accountant Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2-4 years’ experience in corporate finance and accounting.

• Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
