Job summary

A Staff Accountant position is available with a Falls Church, VA–based software startup. You will report to the Assistant Controller and handle AP/AR, month-end close tasks, financial reporting, and support internal controls to document accounting policies.

This fast-growing company offers growth opportunities; public accounting and CPA experience is preferred but not required. Compensation targets around $80K–$100K plus bonus and equity, with strong benefits.

Responsibilities

Our growing client, a software start up, located in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Staff Accountant. This will report into an Assistant Controller (great mentor, ex public accounting/CPA). Duties include AP/AR, month end close tasks, financial reporting, support internal controls/documenting accounting policies, reconciliations, journal entries, and GL accounting support.

This is a fast-growing company, with opportunity to grow with the firm.

Public Accounting And CPA Is Preferred But Not Required.

Compensation targeted at $80K – $100K + bonus + equity
