Job summary

Amapharm LLC, the U.S. entity of the Amapharm Group, is seeking a Staff Accountant at our Drums, PA facility to strengthen our finance and operations team.

The role collaborates with colleagues in Germany and Switzerland to align with international processes and ensure production finances are accurately reflected in our systems. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proficient in QuickBooks and motivated to work at the intersection of accounting, operations and international finance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in QuickBooks and US GAAP accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 BC.
• Manufacturing, packaging or logistics accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain AP/AR, GL entries and reconciliations in QuickBooks ensuring US-GAAP conformity.
• Manage liquidity, payments and FX as part of daily cash flow.
• Lead monthly close and international finance statements.
• Lead year-end closing and prepare financial statements for auditors.
• Ensure proper expense classification, accruals and documentation.
• Collaborate with CFO during audits and coordinate with external auditors.

Job description

Amapharm LLC, the U.S. entity of the Amapharm Group (a leading international producer of nutraceutical gummy products) is seeking a Staff Accountant to strengthen our growing finance and operations team. Our Drums, PA facility focuses on gummy packaging and fulfillment for major U.S. customers.

As part of a global company, this role will regularly collaborate with colleagues in Germany and Switzerland, supporting group reporting standards, cross-boarder information flows and alignment with international processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring that production results, inventory movements and packaging activities in the U.S. are accurately reflected in our financial systems.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, proficient in QuickBooks (or similar software) and motivated to work at the intersection of accounting, operations and international finance. Experience with U.S. GAAP accounting is preferred. Willingness to learn and work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as part of the company's ERP transition. Experience in manufacturing, packaging or logistics a plus.

Accounting Responsibilities

will include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining AP/AR, general ledger entries and account reconciliations in QuickBooks while ensuring US-GAAP accounting conformity.
• Liquidity management as well as payment processing & FX payments.
• Lead the monthly closing procedures and international finance statements.
• Lead year end closing process and preparing financial statement for Amapharm LLC auditors.
• Ensure proper expense classification, accruals and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with the CFO during year-end audits and coordinate with external auditors.
