Job summary

Amapharm LLC in Drums, PA is seeking a Staff Accountant to strengthen our growing finance and operations team. The role collaborates with colleagues across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and proactive with QuickBooks and US GAAP.
• Willing to learn Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central during ERP transition.
• Experience in manufacturing, packaging or logistics is a plus.
• Collaborates with international teams across Germany and Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining AP/AR, GL entries and reconciliations in QuickBooks with US-GAAP conformity.
• Liquidity management, payment processing and FX payments.
• Lead monthly closing procedures and international finance statements.
• Lead year-end closing and prepare financial statements for auditors.
• Ensure proper expense classification, accruals and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with CFO during audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• COGS, Inventory and Packaging integration.
• Reporting, planning and cash flow coordination.

Job description

Amapharm LLC, the U.S. entity of the Amapharm Group (a leading international producer of nutraceutical gummy products) is seeking a Staff Accountant to strengthen our growing finance and operations team. Our Drums, PA facility focuses on gummy packaging and fulfillment for major U.S. customers.

As part of a global company, this role will regularly collaborate with colleagues in Germany and Switzerland, supporting group reporting standards, cross-boarder information flows and alignment with international processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring that production results, inventory movements and packaging activities in the U.S. are accurately reflected in our financial systems.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, proficient in QuickBooks (or similar software) and motivated to work at the intersection of accounting, operations and international finance. Experience with U.S. GAAP accounting is preferred. Willingness to learn and work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as part of the company's ERP transition. Experience in manufacturing, packaging or logistics a plus.

Accounting Responsibilities
