Job summary

The position offers a base salary range of $75,000 to $90,000, with opportunities to work alongside experienced leadership and broaden accounting exposure beyond a single function. CPA candidate progress is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Approximately 3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• CPA candidate or CPA progress is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L analysis.
• Support accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and other general accounting activities.
• Partner with different areas of the business to gather and analyze financial information.
• Assist with external audit requests and supporting documentation.
• Help strengthen accounting processes, controls, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to make processes more accurate and efficient.
• Take on increasingly complex accounting responsibilities as you grow within the team.

What You’ll Be Doing as Staff Accountant

What You Bring

The ideal background is someone who has spent approximately two years in public accounting followed by a year or more in industry, although we're open to candidates with a similarly strong accounting foundation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Approximately 3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Corporate accounting experience highly valued
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Month-end close, journal entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-moving environment
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Professional, polished, and comfortable working with high-performing colleagues
• CPA candidate or CPA exam progress is a major plus
