Job summary

Edge Case Research, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a public accounting team. This full-time role offers hands-on experience in tax preparation, nonprofit auditing, bookkeeping, payroll, and general client accounting services.

Based in Park Rapids, you will support tax planning, audits for nonprofits, and preparation of workpapers and financial statements while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. CPA progression encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of accounting or related accounting experience preferred; strong recent graduates will also be considered.
• Familiarity with individual and business tax returns is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, or nonprofit auditing is a plus.
• CPA eligibility or progress toward the CPA designation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
