Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Longmont, CO. The role focuses on month-end close, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and process improvements, reporting to leadership.

The position is primarily onsite in Longmont with a potential hybrid schedule (up to 3 days in the office and 2 days remote) after onboarding and training. 3+ years of accounting experience and strong Excel/ERP skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience; ERP experience and advanced Excel skills are required.
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances.
• Maintain fixed asset/inventory accounting records +WIP analysis.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting.
