Corporate-Hospitality is seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain accurate financial records for our Hotel Portfolio. Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling the general ledger and bank accounts.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results to management.
  • Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable, including collections and credit control.
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Stay updated on accounting principles and industry best practices.

The Staff Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting the overall financial health of our Hotel Portfolio

Key Responsibilities:
