Job summary

CFS in Michigan is seeking a Staff Accountant to handle accounts payable, operational accounting, and support leadership in a stable manufacturing environment.

This role offers visibility, bonus opportunities twice per year, and room to grow within the company. You will work closely with the Accounting Manager and interact with production staff to improve processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably including accounts payable.
• Experience with invoice processing, account reconciliations, and vendor payments.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and interact with production personnel.

Responsibilities

• Process, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare payment runs and distribute checks.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Maintain vendor files, W-9 documentation, and accounting records.
• Support journal entries, ledger activity, and other accounting functions.
