Job summary

CFS is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance/accounting team in a growing middle‑market manufacturing company. This role offers stability, room for growth, and top‑notch benefits.

You will support month‑end close, AP/AR, cash receipts, GL reconciliations, and tax compliance. Collaborate across functions to provide financial insights, mentor junior staff, and stay current on accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred.
• Full cycle accounting experience required.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data to produce accurate reports and statements.
• Manage sales and use tax responsibilities and ensure timely filing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry best practices.
