ICONMA is seeking a Staff Accountant for a hybrid role in Bolingbrook, IL. The position supports project accounting initially and transitions to fixed asset accounting as needed.

The role involves monthly close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, and various ad hoc accounting projects. Requires a BS in Accounting/Finance and 2–4 years of experience, with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and SAP S/4HANA experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2–4 years of professional accounting experience is required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting internal controls is required.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities, prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Perform variance analyses and assist with accounting projects.
• Participate in ad hoc requests as assigned.

Our Client, a Retail Cosmetics company, is looking for a Staff Accountant for their Bolingbrook, IL / Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

• The Temporary Staff Accountant will provide accounting support during two planned employee leaves of absence.
• The individual will initially support the Project Accounting function and will transition to Fixed Asset Accounting responsibilities as business needs evolve.
• The role will participate in monthly close activities, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, perform variance analyses, and assist with other accounting projects and ad hoc requests as assigned

Requirements:

• Skill: Required / Desired Amount of Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Required
• Minimum of 2-4 years of professional accounting experience Required
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting internal controls Required
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other large ERP systems; SAP experience is strongly preferred Required
