Job summary

Swoon is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Staff Accountant to support the accounting team in day-to-day operations, month-end close, and financial reporting for a leading beauty and retail company.

The role starts in Project Accounting and will transition to Fixed Asset Accounting as needs evolve. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of experience, solid GL skills, and hands-on month-end close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–4 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Experience using SAP S/4HANA or another large ERP system.

About the Opportunity

This role will initially focus on Project Accounting and transition to Fixed Asset Accounting as business needs evolve.
