Talent Mappers in Brickell, FL, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a hybrid role with four days in the office.

You will prepare and post journal entries, run monthly reconciliations, support month-end closes, and assist with audits and special projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years of accounting experience, and advanced Excel skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills ( Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS ).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger.

The position resides in Brickell and requires a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Perform and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances as needed
• Assist with the month-end close processes while providing accounting assistance for ongoing projects and other ad hoc initiatives throughout the month
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and investigate variances.
• Support internal and external audit requests by gathering, organizing, and providing required supporting documentation
• Monitor and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data analysis).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger accounting.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
