Senior Accountant Job Description

Oversee the closing of monthly and annual financial periods, including:
- a) Preparation of journal entries.
- b) Balance sheet reconciliations.
- c) Income statement reconciliations.
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
Oversee daily accounting functions, including:
- a) Accounts payable.
- b) Cash receipts.
Preparation of financial analyses requested by external financial advisors, auditors and parties in interest.
Supervise and mentor staff.
Assist with account audits.
Other duties as assigned.

Accountant Requirements
