AMB Sports + Entertainment in Atlanta is hiring a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and audits. This onsite role reports to the Finance Director and contributes to NWSL reporting, treasury management, and internal controls.

Based at Mercedes-Benz Stadium through 2028 and then at the Marietta training facility, the position requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to partner with peers and senior leaders to drive accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Public accounting or corporate accounting experience a plus.
• CPA candidate a plus.
• Experience with Great Plains, Concur, and Vena is considered a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist with month-end close processes and journal entries.
• Maintain financial records and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of account reconciliations.
• Manage check deposits and cash requests.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Track and reconcile capital expenditures.
• Prepare balance sheet and income statement variance analysis.
• Support annual audits and NWSL reporting requirements.
• Complete ad hoc analysis and other projects as assigned.

Position Summary

We are hiring a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team at Atlanta City FC. This individual will report to the Finance Director and assist in day-to-day accounting, month-end close, annual audits, NWSL reporting, treasury management, control implementations, and other requested projects.

This fully onsite role will be based at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA, until 2028 when the role will be based at our new world-class training facility in Marietta, GA.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close processes and journal entries
• Maintain financial records and general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of account reconciliations
• Manage check deposits and cash requests
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Track and reconcile capital expenditures
