Job summary

Visionaire Partners in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team, driving timely closes and process improvements. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule (1 day remote per week after 6 months) with a clear path to growth within a premier organization.

You will lead month-end close, review GL accounts, prepare journal entries, and support audits while leveraging Excel and ERP systems; MS Dynamics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; MS Dynamics a plus.
• Strong month-end close, GL entries, audit preparation, and process improvement experience.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong communicator.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and audit GL accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, prepare journal entries, and perform account reconciliations.
• Maintain supporting documentation to ensure internal control compliance and assist with audits.
• Identify variance trends, recommend corrective actions, and optimize financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience: 2–5 years in core accounting or financial reporting
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics experience is a major plus!)
• Core Competencies: Proven expertise in month-end closes, GL entries, audit preparation, and process improvement
• Soft Skills: Sharp analytical capability, meticulous attention to detail, and top-tier communication skills
