Levy Restaurants at UW–Madison is hiring a Dishwasher to support a fast-paced stadium kitchen. You will ensure dishes, cookware, and surfaces are spotless, while following strict sanitation and safety standards. The role starts in August and includes enhanced pay for football game days.

Experience is preferred but not required; physical stamina and a team-focused mindset are essential to help keep the kitchen running smoothly for large crowds.

Qualifications

• Experience: restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Physical: stand long hours and move 20–40 lbs.
• Attitude: willing to contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Teamwork: collaborate with supervisors and kitchen staff to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Safety: follow sanitation and safety procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Dish Cleaning: wash dishes, pots, pans, and trays by hand or machine.
• Kitchen Cleanliness: clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and prep areas.
• Trash Removal: dispose of waste and sanitize bins.
• Safety & Sanitation: adhere to hygiene standards across the kitchen.
• Floor Maintenance: sweep and mop floors to keep them safe.
• Equipment Care: maintain the dishwashing area and report issues.
• Stocking & Transporting: assist with supply transfers and loading/unloading.
• Team Collaboration: work with supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
