Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced R&D Senior Manager to lead Power Conversion in North America and to build a world-class R&D organization. The role focuses on advancing Solid State Transformer technologies, aligning with global strategy, and strengthening presence in the North American ecosystem.

The candidate will guide technical roadmaps, drive organizational growth, and ensure milestone delivery while collaborating with teams in the US, Europe, and China.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics.
• 15+ years of experience in power electronics or related domains.
• Proven leadership in scaling R&D organizations.
• Experience with product incubation, development and industrialization.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Contribute and execute the Power Electronics technology roadmap. Lead SST execution from concept to light industrialization.
• Organization & Capability Building: Establish and scale the SST R&D team with testing and validation laboratory.
• Execution Excellence: Oversee SST R&D programs and ensure delivery of milestones and performance targets.
• Global Collaboration: Align with global R&D teams across US, Europe, and China.
