TriState Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our outpatient services team in Washington. You will carry the full nursing process, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff, and provide peri-operative education across Day Surgery, Infusions, Endoscopy Lab and GI, PACU, and Pre-operative Clinic.

Expect to rotate on-call duties and float as needed. Pay is determined by experience, with compensation toward the mid to upper end of our wage scale (DOE).

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current Washington RN license; BLS/CPR and PALS certifications on hire.
• Minimum two years of experience in a hospital or outpatient surgery clinic.

• Float to multiple outpatient services areas, including Day Surgery, Infusions, Endoscopy Lab and GI, PACU, and Pre-operative Clinic.
• Provide peri-operative education, monitor for post-anesthesia and post-operative complications, and facilitate discharge and transportation.
• Participate in on-call rotations including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job Summary:

Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members. Nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, hospital, Nursing Department and regulatory standards. Duties include floating to the entire Outpatient Services area which includes: Day surgery, Infusions, Endoscopy Lab and GI, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic and hospital needs of conscious sedation for special procedures. Use skills in nursing assessment to include peri-operative education and care, recognizing post anesthesia and post-operative complications. Facilitates discharge and transportation of patients to outlying nursing units or home. This position requires rotation in the on-call schedule for evening, weekends and holidays. Shifts, days of work varies and will be determined based on need once filled.

Education and Training:

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree from an accredited school of Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Licensures/ Certifications:

• Current Washington State RN license; Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR and PALS certification cards on hire.

Experience:

• Minimum two years of experience in a hospital or outpatient surgery clinic.

Skills and Abilities:

• Competent in the use of computers
