Job summary

TriState Health in Clarkston, WA is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our SSSU department. You will perform the nursing process, coordinate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and staff.

The role requires an ADN (BSN preferred), Washington RN license, BLS/CPR and PALS, and at least two years of hospital or outpatient surgery experience. A sign-on bonus may be available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited school of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current Washington State RN license; Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR and PALS certification cards on hire.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members.
• Duties include floating to the entire Outpatient Services area including Day surgery, Infusions, Endoscopy Lab and GI, PACU, Pre-operative Clinic and hospital needs of conscious sedation for special procedures.
• Use skills in nursing assessment to include peri-operative education and care, recognizing post anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Facilitates discharge and transportation of patients to outlying nursing units or home.
• This position requires rotation in the on-call schedule for evening, weekends and holidays.
