Trios Health, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Outpatient Services in Kennewick, WA. This full-time role on the day shift offers union protection and a wage scale of $42.14–$78.11 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

You will provide direct patient care on the Medical-Surgical unit, perform plan-of-care interventions, document thoroughly, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Washington RN license (single-state) or compact license.
• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide plan-of-care interventions including medications, specimen collection, and treatments.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Monitor and communicate patient status to care team and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Collaborate across disciplines for transfers, discharges, and referrals.
• Educate patients and families with age- and culture-appropriate information.
• Participate in performance improvement and ongoing education.
• May work other shifts/units or on-call as needed.

Position Summary

Provides direct patient care on the Medical-Surgical unit using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Communicates effectively with the care team and the patient/family to support safe, high-quality outcomes. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Essential Functions

• Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, psychosocial/spiritual support).
• Assessing learning needs and delivers age/culture-appropriate patient/family education.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and required continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed; may take on-call assignments.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Active Washington RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC required
• 1 year of experience required
