Job summary

Micron Technology in the United States seeks an experienced SSD Hardware Architect Engineer to shape next-generation SSD platforms. You will drive hardware decisions and collaborate with firmware, system and validation teams to meet product requirements.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 10+ years in hardware design and architecture. You will design power topologies, perform simulations, and mentor engineers across the hardware team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • 10+ years in hardware design and system architecture.
  • Strong foundation in circuit design and power integrity.
  • Experience with PCB design and high-speed routing.
  • Proficiency with SPICE/IBIS/Hspice simulations.

Responsibilities

  • Define hardware architectures for SSD products.
  • Design power topologies and ensure strong power integrity.
  • Simulate and analyze designs to improve performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with firmware, system and validation teams.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
