You will gain hands-on experience in embedded systems, firmware development, debugging, and AI-assisted engineering workflows. Responsibilities include debugging firmware, developing test plans, and contributing to product qualification with emphasis on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience through internships, coursework or projects.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and returning to school after the internship.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems and firmware development concepts.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools and LLMs (e.g., Copilot, Claude).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with firmware engineers to develop, test, and enhance SSD firmware features.
• Debug and resolve firmware issues to improve performance and reliability.
• Develop and implement test plans to validate firmware functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality and processes.
• Document firmware features and updates for stakeholders.
