Micron Technology is seeking an SSD Firmware CI/CD & AI Intern to enhance the firmware development ecosystem with automation, AI agents, and modern CI/CD tools. You’ll work with firmware, validation, and software teams to improve builds, tests, and deployment processes.

The role focuses on engineering productivity, intelligent automation, and scalable workflows rather than new firmware features, ideal for students in CS/CE/EE fields. Eligible for paid internship with mentored guidance.

Formación

• 0–2 years of experience through internships, research, coursework or related projects.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• Strong Python programming experience.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, debugging and automation.
• Interest in AI, AI agents, ML, intelligent automation, or AI-assisted development.
• Strong analytical, organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools and LLMs to improve productivity.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents that enhance firmware development workflows.
• Build and maintain Python-based automation solutions for CI/CD, firmware builds, testing, and release activities.
• Analyse CI/CD pipeline performance, test results, and workflow data for quality and productivity improvements.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into existing firmware engineering processes.
• Collaborate with firmware, validation, and software teams to deploy and improve automation solutions.
