Job summary

The Cuyahoga County Board of DD is seeking a manager to plan, organize and manage Service and Support Administration activities for individuals receiving SSA services. You will oversee staff, supervise performance, and ensure compliance with SSA rules and waivers.

You will collaborate with the SSA management team to implement policy changes, coach staff, and coordinate training, while maintaining strong relations with families and community partners in Parma and the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, special education or related field.
• Five years of successful experience with DD programs and families.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory or substantial professional service coordination experience.
• Eligibility for State DD certification within statutory timelines; valid Ohio driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage SSA activities per OAC 5123:2-1-11 for individuals served.
• Coach and direct Support Administrators and Supervisors to maximize outcomes.
• Hire, train, supervise and evaluate SSA staff; implement performance standards.
• Oversee SSA expenditures and Medicaid waiver enrollment; ensure regulatory compliance.
