Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) to support Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The program trains you to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and to direct operations staff as an Operations Shift Supervisor.

The role requires completing ILT, obtaining an NRC license, and preparing for supervision responsibilities, with relocation assistance offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
• SRO Instructor certification and 4 years experience at a comparable facility OR 6 years at a non-comparable facility.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access; favorable medical exam and/or testing as applicable

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom training and on-the-job training.
• Complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license to perform duties of Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as directed, including emergency response, outage support, and coverage as needed
