Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) at Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The program trains you to supervise licensed reactor operators and equipment operators in the control room.

The role leads toward NRC licensure and includes specialized training, on‑site duties, and potential relocation assistance. Gain credentials with strong safety and operational focus in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Meet or exceed experience: 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access, and pass medical exams as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom, on‑the‑job training and evaluation.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and perform duties of Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Support outage activities, emergency response, and coverage as directed by management.

Education

Bachelor's/Master's in engineering or engineering technology or physical sciences (4-year program)
