Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) at Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The role trains to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and directly oversees bargaining unit operators and technicians.

Primary duties include completing ILT with exams, attaining an SRO license, and providing coverage for emergencies and outages as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1.5+ years in a role equivalent to Reactor Operator or Supervisor in a nuclear facility or military reactor setting
• SRO Instructor certification (current or previous) and minimum license requirements

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job training and evaluation
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and perform supervisor duties
• Support outage activities, emergency response, and coverage as needed
