Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) supporting Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The role trains you to supervise licensed reactor operators in the reactor control room and prepares you for NRC licensing.

The primary duties include attending training, completing licensure phases, and supporting emergency response and outage activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
• SRO Instructor certification and 4 years experience at a comparable facility OR 6 years at a non-comparable facility.
• Maintain minimum access requirements and favorable medical exam/testing.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed operators.
• Support outage activities and department coverage as directed.
