The position involves assisting with daily living activities, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and collaboration with nurses and physicians to deliver cohesive care. Current Kentucky CNA certification is required.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Certifications: Current CNA certification in Kentucky required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, in electronic health records.
• Report changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor promptly.
• Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
