Job summary

Lexington Premier Nursing & Rehab is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team in Lexington, KY. You will provide high-quality resident care focused on comfort, safety, and well-being, while supporting the nursing staff in daily operations.

This full-time role is based in a clinical environment where teamwork and accurate documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Kentucky is required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting is preferred.
• Ability to lift/move residents and perform related physical tasks.
• Ability to document care and changes in residents’ conditions accurately in electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Document care provided and changes in residents’ conditions in EHRs.
• Report changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and companionship.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians for comprehensive care.
