Qualifications

• Candidates must be physically able to lift and move residents.
• Current CNA certification in Kentucky is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs such as BP, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Document care provided and changes in residents’ conditions in electronic health records.
• Report changes to nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and provide companionship.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure cohesive care.

Job Summary:

Work Environment:

This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment where you will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
