Lexington Premier Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team in Lexington, KY. You will provide high-quality resident care, focusing on comfort, safety, and well-being, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

The role requires a valid Kentucky CNA certification and prior experience in a skilled nursing setting; physical ability to assist with transfers and daily activities is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Candidates must be physically able to lift and move residents.
• Current CNA certification in Kentucky is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs such as BP, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Document care provided and changes in residents’ conditions in electronic health records.
• Report changes to nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and provide companionship.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure cohesive care.
