General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) seeks a Mechanical Designer/Drafter (Engineer II) to support our SRM Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will create detailed CAD models, drawings and specifications for propulsion hardware such as motor cases, nozzles, insulation, joints, and structural interfaces.

This role may be remote or based in Huntsville, AL, Niceville, FL, or Hampton, AR, and involves design integration, configuration control and collaboration with engineers across

Qualificações

• Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience required.
• Engineering degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilidades

• Applies engineering techniques to design, install, modify, analyze, repair and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Confers with engineers to implement procedures, resolve malfunctions, and provide technical information.
• Researches and analyzes proposals to evaluate feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements.
