Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead a Site Reliability Engineering team supporting BAN/LAN/WLAN transport for a large enterprise network. You will own the backlog, guide 8–12 engineers, and partner with other Product Owners to align roadmaps across WAN, boundary, and NetDevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years as Product Owner, Scrum Master, or technical program lead within SAFe.
• Experience leading technical teams of 5+ engineers.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Agile/Product Owner certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II or higher certification preferred; required if role involves privileged access to network management tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and refine backlog for the SRE Transport BAN/LAN/WLAN, balancing customer needs, technical risk, operational stability, and priority.
• Translate requirements into clear features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineers.
• Coordinate with other Transport domain Product Owners to align roadmaps and resolve priorities.
• Maintain rolling roadmap including capability investments, debt, and modernization efforts.
• Lead SAFe backlog grooming, sprint planning, and PI planning; track velocity and blockers.
• Manage day-to-day performance and staffing for 8–12 engineers; oversee onboarding and ramp-up.
