Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead an SRE team delivering BAN/LAN/WLAN transport services for a large enterprise network. You will own the product backlog, guide 8-12 engineers, and coordinate with other Product Owners across Transport domains to align roadmaps and priorities.

The role requires strong background in enterprise routing, switching, and wireless tech, plus SAFe Agile practice, backlog grooming, and stakeholder management. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; 8-12 years of relevant professional experience or 3+ years as Product Owner in SAFe

Responsibilities

• Own, prioritize, and refine the product backlog for the SRE Transport team, balancing customer needs, technical risk, operational stability, and mission priorities.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineers.
• Partner with other Transport domain Product Owners to align cross-team roadmaps and resolve competing priorities.
• Maintain and communicate a rolling roadmap for Transport BAN/LAN/WLAN, including technical debt and modernization efforts.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and SAFe ceremonies; track velocity and surface blockers.
