Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for Pennington, NJ onsite contract to design, build, and support tooling, automation frameworks, and observability for mission‑critical services. You will collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve service reliability, reduce operational risk, and drive incident response and post‑mortem practices.

Requires strong Linux, Python, scripting skills, and experience with monitoring platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC

Qualifications

Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, or other automation languages.
Experience developing tooling, automation frameworks, or engineering utilities.
Hands-on experience with observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Understanding of database technologies including MySQL, MongoDB, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with Node.js.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support tooling, automation frameworks, and observability capabilities.
Partner with application development and infrastructure engineering teams to improve service reliability and reduce operational risk.
Drive SRE best practices and enhance platform observability.
Develop solutions to reduce manual effort and increase service resilience.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards.
Participate in incident management, production support, and root cause analysis.
Integrate systems through APIs and service interfaces.
