Job summary

Wipro is seeking an experienced SRE Engineer to design, manage, and support distributed systems across multi-cloud environments. The role is based in Austin, Texas with a hybrid work model and relocation considerations.

You will develop tooling for environment monitoring, automate tasks, and drive reliability by improving SLOs/SLAs, while collaborating with development teams and clients to maintain service health and availability.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of SRE experience.
• Experience designing and supporting distributed systems.
• Hybrid work setup in multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tooling for environment monitoring and task automation.
• Identify reliability improvements and build solutions to improve experience.
• Analyze configurations for software and servers, DB connections, indexes, drivers.
• Coordinate with development teams and clients to understand dependencies.
• Monitor SLOs/SLAs and address gaps.
• Develop runbooks and deployment automation.
• Create end-to-end monitoring dashboards for critical transactions.
• Lead incident response and blameless postmortems.
• Mentor junior engineers.
