Job summary

Tech3pillars Technologies in Phoenix, AZ seeks a hands-on Java + SRE Engineer to bolster production reliability and observability. You will work on Java/Spring Boot applications, implement RCA processes, and optimize CI/CD and deployments.

You will leverage AI-assisted tooling and modern observability stacks (Splunk, Elasticsearch/Kibana) while ensuring SLA/SLO adherence and operational excellence across Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience debugging production Java applications, including logs and performance issues.
• Understanding of application design, integrations, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Provide SRE and production engineering support for business-critical applications and services.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across application, API, infrastructure, database, and network layers.
• Perform RCA and drive corrective and preventive actions for recurring incidents.
• Support Incident, Problem, and Change Management and SLA/SLO adherence.
• Monitor health using Splunk, Elasticsearch/Kibana, and similar observability tools; create dashboards and alerts.
• Work with Kubernetes/OpenShift and CI/CD pipelines; manage deployments and production validation.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational activities and improve reliability.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools for code understanding, debugging, log analysis, and automation.
